Pashinyan not to travel to Poland for economic forum

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not travel to the Polish city of Krynica-Zdrój to participate in the 29th International Economic Forum, the Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said.
YEREVAN, August 28. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not travel to the Polish city of Krynica-Zdrój to participate in the 29th International Economic Forum, the Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said.
"An invitation was also sent to the Prime Minister of Armenia to participate in the forum. Armenia did not confirm his participation, and the Polish side was informed about that," Naghdalyan said.
Earlier, Armenian media, citing the website of the 29th International Economic Forum, wrote that Pashinyan would be one of the honorable guests of the forum.
The Economic Forum in Krynica is the largest conference in Central and Eastern Europe. Every year the Forum, which is organized at the beginning of September brings together more than 4,500 international guests. These include political, economic and social leaders as well as approx. 600 journalists.
The guests usually come from over 60 different countries of Europe, Asia and America. The Forum’s mission is to create a favorable climate for the development of political and economic cooperation between the EU member states and their neighbors. -0-
