Pashinyan Sees No Change in Supply of Armenian Goods to Russia

YEREVAN, August 13. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today that he has not seen change in the supply of Armenian goods to Russia following the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan and his phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Responding to a press briefing question about whether he sees any changes in this area after participating in the meeting and his talks with Putin, Pashinyan briefly replied: "No, I don't."

On Russian Restrictions on Goods from Armenia                

Since the end of May 2026, Russia has gradually introduced restrictions on the supply of certain products from Armenia, citing violations of phytosanitary requirements. The restrictions also include a ban on Armenian products shipped through Russia to EAEU countries.

The restrictions included, in particular, vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, dried fruits, as well as Jermuk mineral water, certain types of alcoholic beverages, fish, and later, dairy products.

On July 26, Pashinyan announced that he had talked with Russian President Vladimir Putin and asked him to facilitate a resolution to the issue of restrictions on the export of Armenian goods to Russia. -0-
