Industrial output in Armenia in January-March 2026 amounted to 748,000.8 million drams, an increase of 13.4% compared to January-March 2025. In March alone, industrial output amounted to 256,521.4 million drams, 7.0% higher than in March 2025 and 2.0% lower than in February 2026.
YEREVAN, May 13. /ARKA/. Industrial output in Armenia in January-March 2026 amounted to 748,000.8 million drams, an increase of 13.4% compared to January-March 2025. In March alone, industrial output amounted to 256,521.4 million drams, 7.0% higher than in March 2025 and 2.0% lower than in February 2026.
The largest volume of industrial output in the first quarter came from the manufacturing industry – 458,410.6 million drams (an increase of 9.5% year-on-year). Next came the mining industry and open-pit mining at AMD 163,889.9 million (a 36.8% increase), the electricity, gas, steam, and purified air supply sector at AMD 118,171.7 million (a 7.0% increase), and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling at AMD 7,528.6 million (a 4.1% increase).
The manufacturing industry accounted for the largest share of industrial output in January-March 2026, accounting for 61.3%. The share of mining and open-pit mining was 21.9%, the electricity, gas, steam, and purified air supply sector at 15.8%, and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling at 1.0%.
