Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan announced that state budget expenditures for 2026 will amount to 3.6 trillion drams, while revenues will be 3.091 trillion drams, and the deficit will be 537 billion drams.
YEREVAN, October 27. /ARKA/. Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan announced that state budget expenditures for 2026 will amount to 3.6 trillion drams, while revenues will be 3.091 trillion drams, and the deficit will be 537 billion drams.
"The ratio of revenue to GDP will be 25.9%, tax revenues – 24.9%, expenditures – 30.4%, and capital expenditures – 5.9%," he said on Monday during a discussion of the draft state budget for 2026.
The minister announced that the budget deficit will be reduced from 5.5% in 2025 to 2.8% in 2028, primarily by reducing the share of current expenditures and maintaining the share of capital expenditures. ($1 - 383.05 drams).
