YEREVAN, May 22. /ARKA/. From now on, a special quiz for children will be published monthly as part of the new "Games" section on the Newsarmenia.am website.
Each month, children will have access to a new game that will allow them to play and learn, ranging from the principles of pocket money management to more complex topics related to savings, banking products, and responsible financial management.
Through eight quizzes over eight months, participants will develop a holistic understanding of the financial world. The project is being implemented as part of the "Financially Literate with Idram and IDBank" campaign.
The marathon will be accompanied by Idram Junior, a cheerful, inquisitive, and friendly character who will help participants navigate the world of finance, support them at every stage, and make the learning process more understandable and engaging.
According to Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and Social Responsibility Programs at Idram and IDBank, the companies continue to seek various ways to make financial education more engaging for children.
"In the Idram Junior app, for example, we created the Junius game, which gives children the opportunity to play and simultaneously gain knowledge. This is one of the main areas of our social responsibility," said Vardeyan.
As Galina Davidyan, Director of the Novosti-Armenia agency, noted, financial literacy is a skill that is especially important to develop from an early age.
"We wanted to talk about money not just through lectures, but through games, stories, and interactive tasks. The project, implemented in collaboration with IDBank, transforms complex financial topics into an engaging and accessible journey that children can join every month," said Davidyan.
The first game, "The Magic of Pocket Money," is available in the "Games" section of the Newsarmenia.am website at the following link.
Idram and IDBank are controlled by the Central Bank of Armenia.
