YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Armenia is creating a permanent route for its goods to enter the Chinese market, stated Sergey Avanesov, Chairman of the Armenian-Chinese Relations Development Foundation.

"A permanent route for the export of Armenian-made goods to China is being created, creating a sustainable system. The necessary infrastructure already exists. The Foundation's wholly owned subsidiary, Armenia China (Sichuan) Business Services Co., Ltd. (Armenian Trade House), operates in China." "It has a physical office in Qingbaijiang (Chengdu), an Armenian pavilion and bonded warehouses, approved GACC certification, logistics, and customs clearance procedures, a charter capital of $120 million, and established business ties with Chinese banks, insurance, and leasing companies," Avanesov noted in an interview with Armenpress.

He recalled that in August 2025, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Chinese President Xi Jinping met, signing a memorandum of strategic cooperation that contains general provisions, while the Armenian Trade House offers specific solutions.

"The leaders of the two countries have created the foundation, and we must fill it with concrete content. This is an extremely serious document, within which specific mechanisms of interaction can be implemented," Avanesov said.

According to him, the market for Armenian goods in China is still in its infancy.

"Any organization that secures a strong position there now—be it a manufacturer, a logistics provider, or a bank—will gain an advantage in the coming years. We're entering the Chinese market not just for one-time shipments, but with the goal of creating a permanent export corridor. Therefore, we're creating a practical infrastructure for bilateral trade and using financial mechanisms to facilitate transactions," Avanesov emphasized.

He stated that the Armenian Trade House is establishing business connections by developing commercial proposals jointly with the Fund's partner, Promexpo, which means this is no longer just a project, but a real and operational route.
