Armenia seeks to increase taxes for online casinos

Hayk Sargsyan, an Armenian MP from the pro-governmental Civil Contract party, has introduced today a draft law proposing to change the taxation system for online games with winnings, online casinos, but not for sweepstakes and bookmakers.

Armenian Parliament postpones enactment of law on relocation of casinos for another year

Armenia’s parliament has passed today in the first reading a package of amendments which postpone the entry into force of the law "On gambling houses and casinos" until January 1, 2014. The law was expected to come into force from January 1, 2013.
