YEREVAN, June 27. /ARKA/. Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations announced today the termination of its operations from June 30 this year.

Under the updated Armenian law on the composition and activities of the government adopted on December 16, 2022, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was created, which also incorporates the functions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in an official statement.

It said from now on, questions, proposals, statements and letters related to the Ministry of Emergency Situations should be sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs by e-mail if necessary, as well as through the single platform of electronic requests.

The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs was recreated at the end of 2022. It includes the Police, Rescue Service, Migration and Citizenship Service. --0--
