YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. Pre-election campaigning for the parliamentary elections began in Armenia on May 8 and will continue until June 5.

The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic registered 19 political parties and blocs to participate in the elections:

Reformist Party,

I Am Against Everyone Democratic Party,

Strong Armenia Bloc (Strong Armenia, New Era, United Armenians),

Meritocratic Party of Armenia,

New Force Reformist Party,

Wings of Unity Party,

Prosperous Armenia Party,

Pan-Armenian National Democratic Pole Party,

Kochari - National Revival and Awakening of the Nation Party,

Armenian National Congress Party,

Republic Party,
Christian Democratic Party,

Progressive Centrist Party "Alliance",

Democratic Union Party,

Democracy, Law, Order (DLO) Party,

Civil Contract Party,

Armenia Bloc of Parties (ARF Dashnaktsutyun, a center-right party) "Forward"),

"For the Republic – Defenders of Democracy" Party,

"Bright Armenia" Party.

The Central Election Commission of Armenia has approved the procedure for allocating airtime to parliamentary election participants for election campaigning.

On the Public Broadcaster's television channels—Channel One and Channel One News—parties will be provided up to 90 minutes of free airtime and up to 120 minutes of paid airtime.

On Public Radio, parties will be provided up to 150 minutes of free airtime and up to 180 minutes of paid airtime.

Other broadcasters licensed to use a public multiplex slot are required to provide parties with up to 25 minutes of free airtime. They may also allocate paid airtime for election campaigning.

The next parliamentary elections will be held on June 7, 2026.
