YEREVAN, April 25. /ARKA/. The Armenian government will consider at least 30 issues at a regular Cabinet session scheduled for April 26, according to session’s agenda, placed on the government’s official website.

More precisely, the government plans to amend a number of previous decisions, give several adoption permits, approve changes to the Code of Administrative Offenses, and make adjustments to police procedures.

The government also plans to approve the Concept of Alternative Energy Accumulation and Management, a report on the implementation of the privatization of state property for 2017 and a report on the results of monitoring the implementation of the 2017 state budget.

Thousands of opposition protest leader Nikol Pashinyan’s supporters resumed protests across the Armenian capital Yerevan today morning after negotiations he was to hold with the ruling Republican Party  were canceled.  According to acting prime minister Karapetyan, he rejected preconditions laid down by Pashinyan. Shortly after the resumption of protests police were deployed in the center of the Armenian capital.

The opposition says after making prime minister Serzh Sargsyan to step down their next goal is to elect a popular prime minister and make the ruling Republican Party that has the majority in the parliament, cede power. -0-
