Economic activity index in Armenia fell 18% in October 2011, compared with September 2010, but rose 2.4%, compared with October 2010, National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Economic activity index in Armenia fell 18% in October 2011, compared with September 2010, but rose 2.4%, compared with October 2010, National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

Unlike calculation of GDP indicator, the economic activity index is a monthly index designed to gauge overall economic activity. It is not based on added value amount and doesn’t contain net taxes on production and financial mediation services, which are calculated indirectly. -0-
