Armenia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed on mutual recognition of driving licenses.
YEREVAN, February 13. /ARKA/. Armenia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed on mutual recognition of driving licenses.
The relevant memorandum was approved by Armenian government on Thursday.
According to the document, both countries will recognize driving licenses of citizens arriving for temporary stay. Those who move for permanent residence will be given an opportunity to get local driver's licenses in a simplified procedure - without taking exams.
Since February 1, 2024, a visa-free regime has been in effect between Armenia and the UAE, allowing citizens to stay in the other country without a visa for up to 90 days within every 180 days. --0—
