In January 2026, some 179,409 tourists visited Armenia, compared to 139,482 in the same period of 2025 (an increase of 28.63%), the Tourism Committee reported.
YEREVAN, February 10. /ARKA/. In January 2026, some 179,409 tourists visited Armenia, compared to 139,482 in the same period of 2025 (an increase of 28.63%), the Tourism Committee reported.
According to the agency, the largest number of tourist arrivals in January were from Russia – 73,071 (41%), Georgia – 21,490 (12%), and Iran – 14,974 (8%).
According to the government's Strategic Program for Tourism Development in Armenia for 2026–2030, the number of tourists visiting the country is expected to reach 3 million annually.-0-
