Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan has ordered today municipality departments in charge of investment programs and tourism, as well as the Erebuni Archeological Museum to develop packages of investment programs to make these sites popular tourist destinations for visitors of the Armenian capital city.

"In terms of stimulating the attractiveness of the capital, much remains to be done, particularly at Erebuni Archaeological Museum, as well as at the ancient settlements of Shengavit and Karmir Blur", - Margaryan was quoted as saying by the municipality’s press service.
According to mayor, the focus should be on the creation of the necessary infrastructure that will ensure the influx of tourists to these areas.
"It is necessary to establish an appropriate infrastructure that will contribute to the development of tourism in the capital, and to ensure proper services for tourists visiting Yerevan", - he said. -0--
