Armenian passport ranks 72nd in Henley & Partners Global Ranking

YEREVAN, July 25. /ARKA/. The Armenian passport climbed seven spots in the latest Henley & Partners ranking, now placing 72nd among 103 countries. This marks a significant improvement from the 79th position it held last year.

As of the first half of 2024, Armenian citizens can visit 62 countries without a visa.

The Henley & Partners ranking, which is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), lists Singapore as the top passport in the world, offering visa-free travel to 195 countries. France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Japan share the second position, with visa-free access to 192 countries each.

At the bottom of the list are Afghanistan (103rd), Syria (102nd), Iraq (101st), and both Pakistan and Yemen (100th).

The index evaluates passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a visa.
