Armenian passport ranks 71st in Henley & Partners' 2026 Passport Index
YEREVAN, January 14. /ARКА/. Armenia ranked 71st in Henley & Partners' 2026 Passport Index, improving its position by three spots compared to the previous year.
According to the list published on the company's website, Armenian passport holders currently enjoy visa-free entry to 66 countries.
Singapore tops the ranking, with its citizens able to visit 192 countries visa-free. Japan and South Korea share second and third place, with their passports providing access to 188 countries. Iraq (99th, 29 countries), Syria (100th, 26 countries), and Afghanistan (101st, 24 countries) round out the list.
The Henley Passport Index is an international passport ranking based on the number of countries and territories accessible to travelers without a visa. The ranking is updated monthly and is used as a standard benchmark for assessing global citizen mobility. The index covers 199 passports and 227 destinations and is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).-0-
