Armenia's passport gives visa-free access to 33 countries
YEREVAN, December 8. /ARKA/. Armenia's passport ranked 64th (78 points) in the world's strongest passport list, compiled by Arton Capital. The passport ranking tells the number of countries one can enter without acquiring a visa.
Armenian citizens can travel visa-free to only 33 countries. In 45 countries citizens of Armenia can obtain a visa on arrival.
The UAE passport is number one in the ranking, which grants visa-free entry to 121 countries and allows its holders to obtain a visa on arrival in 59 countries.
Passports from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and South Korea share the second place (173 points). The American passport with 172 points is in third place.
The Passport Index methodology is based on the 139 members of the United nations and six territories were considered for the list. The data is based on official information provided by governments, updated in real-time with intelligence obtained through crowd sourcing and enhanced with proprietary research from highly credible sources.-0-
