YEREVAN, March 4. /ARKA/. Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia will be able to make the region convenient for transit, resulting in a tenfold increase in revenues. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, summing up his working visit to Georgia.
"Our Georgian colleagues share the same understanding. No single country will be able to handle the entire cargo turnover," Pashinyan said during government hour in parliament.
He noted that the transportation of numerous cargoes from East to West, in particular from China to the EU and vice versa, is being discussed.
"Even if we open 20 parallel railways and 20 roads in the region, they will still not be enough to handle all this traffic. Now is a very opportune moment for Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia to take advantage of this shared opportunity," Pashinyan said.
