Armenian president invites Airbus and Air Asia executives to Armenia

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian visited last week the world's leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus” pavilion at the Le Bourget s International Aviation Fair in Paris.
YEREVAN, June 24. /ARKA/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian visited last week the world's leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus” pavilion at the Le Bourget s International Aviation Fair in Paris. Sarkissian and the Vice-President and Regional Director of Airbus Lionel Shampo discussed the possibilities of developing cooperation with Armenia, Sarkissian’s press office said.
It said also that Sarkissian invited Airbus executives to visit Armenia and get acquainted with its potential on the spot.
He stressed that Armenia has a great development potential in such areas as high technologies and artificial intelligence. In response, representatives of the aviation corporation expressed their readiness to visit Armenia.
Armen Sarkissian also visited the pavilion of the Air Asia, the most famous and popular low-cost airline in the Asian region.
Air Asia executive director Tony Fernandez and the Armenian president discussed possible cooperation. Sarkissian invited Fernandez to come to Armenia and familiarize himself with the possibilities of interaction on the spot. Fernandez expressed his willingness to cooperate and accepted the invitation to visit Armenia. -- 0--
