Ameriabank participates in Sevan Startup Summit as innovation partner

The Sevan Startup Summit 2019, one of the most anticipated events of Armenia's startup ecosystem, ran this year from July 28 to August 3, the press service of Ameriabank, which was the Innovative Partner of the event, reported.
YEREVAN, August 5 /ARKA/. The Sevan Startup Summit 2019, one of the most anticipated events of Armenia's startup ecosystem, ran this year from July 28 to August 3, the press service of Ameriabank, which was the Innovative Partner of the event, reported.
As part of the Firecode Marathon, held for the first time this year at the summit, Ameriabank acted also as a sponsor of the event, organizing the Ameriabank Challenge competition for the participants. The results of the competition were summed up and during the closing ceremony, two startups, which presented the best innovative solutions - Virtlo and X-Tech- were awarded prizes of $1,000 and $2,000 respectively.
Ameriabank also participated actively in the Camp Fire Talk, where its speakers spoke on such themes as "E-commerce in Business" and "How UX Can Kill." The bank also took part in the 'one to one session' as a mentor.
"We attach importance to the organization of such events in Armenia: such platforms allow young people to present their innovative ideas in a businesslike atmosphere and receive constructive advice on their competitive advantages and further advancement," said Shavarsh Voskanyan, head of Ameriabank Information Technology Service.
"We are very pleased that one of the leading Armenian lending organizations, Ameriabank, joined the summit as an Innovation Partner. This event was made possible by our partners, and their presence inspires us to implement new events and initiatives," said the founder of the Startup Armenia foundation Hakob Hakobyan.
For the fourth year in a row, the Sevan Startup Summit has been organized by the Startup Armenia foundation on the shores of Lake Sevan. This year about 100 out of 1000 startups from various countries of the world who submitted applications, received the opportunity to participate in it.
The participants presented their startup ideas and received constructive advice on the development and improvement of their start-ups, as well as established contacts with successful representatives of the business world.
