YEREVAN, March 30. /ARKA/. Some 280 athletes from 38 countries are expected to arrive in the Armenian capital Yerevan to fight for the medals of the European Boxing Championship slated to take place on May 21-31.

A government set up inter-agency task force to prepare the major sporting event convened today to discuss the outstanding issues.

The championship will be held at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, which was said to hav all the necessary infrastructure for the proper organization and holding of the championship

Also, a fan zone will be created near Swan Lake with a large screen. --0--
