Armenia, with its one gold and three silvers, stands between Turkey (one gold, three silvers and four bronzes) and Czech Republic (1-2-7).
Armenia’s Artur Aleksanyan (98 kilograms) picked up Olympic gold in Greco-Roman wrestling.
Weightlifters Simon Martirosyan (up to 105 kg) and Gor Minasyan (over 105 kg) as well as Greco-Roman wrestler Mihran Harutyunyan won silver medals. The latter missed gold because the referring was biased.
