The Yerevan Council of Elders (the legislative assembly) has decided today to release AMD 8.14bln for repair, construction and other infrastructure projects in Armenia’s capital city in 2023.

YEREVAN, June 27. /ARKA/. The Yerevan Council of Elders (the legislative assembly) has decided today to release AMD 8.14bln for repair, construction and other infrastructure projects in Armenia’s capital city in 2023.

Specifically, the funds will be allocated for road construction (902 million drams), modernization of sewerage and irrigation systems (724 million drams), garbage disposal and sanitary purification (400 million drams), environmental protection (204 million drams).

Part of the funds will be provided as housing certificates to residents of buildings not fit for living (550 million drams). Also. money will be provided for repair of a theater building (154 million drams), site improvements near the Tamanyan monument (13 million drams) and other projects ($1 - 386.71 drams). -0--
