Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, commenting today the rumors going around about imminent increase in public transport fares in Yerevan, said again that nothing like that has been decided, the municipality’s press office reports.

“We have officially stated that the matter has not been discussed and is not planned to be discussed in the near future,” he said.
The mayor said that residents of the capital city have no grounds for anxiety, since fares will be kept pegged.
Nothing has changed – fare for all public transports but trolleybus is 100 drams, and trolleybus fare is 50 drams. ($1 – AMD 419.08). -0-
