Yerevan and Tehran to sign cooperation agreement

YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. Armenian capital city Yerevan and Iran’s capital city Tehran will sign a cooperation agreement, the Yerevan Municipality said last Friday.
It said this issue was discussed by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan and Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Abbas Badashkhan Zohouri.
Working groups will be formed in both capitals in the near future to prepare for the signing of the document. The agreement will allow implementing joint programs in concrete areas, according to Yerevan Municipality.
Sargsyan praised the cooperation between the Iranian Embassy in Armenia and the Municipality, saying there is a great opportunity to take the bilateral relations to a practical stage.
He particularly stressed the importance of establishing cooperation in such areas as road traffic, garbage processing and beautification of the city and culture.--0--
