Thirteen people in Yerevan hospitalized after visiting Burgery and Yerevan Pandok

Between November 18-22, thirteen citizens were hospitalized at the National Center for Infectious Diseases with intestinal infection diagnosis, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia reported on its Facebook page.

YEREVAN, November  24. /ARKA/. Between November 18-22, thirteen citizens were hospitalized at the National Center for Infectious Diseases with intestinal infection diagnosis, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia reported on its Facebook page.

It said their condition is assessed as mild and moderate.

It said an epidemiological investigation revealed that on November 16-18 they all visited the Burgery (located on Amiryan street in Yerevan and Pandok Yerevan, also located on the same street), owned and run .by the Father and Son Yeremyan LLC.

On November 17-20 they suffered from clinical symptoms typical of an intestinal infection/food poisoning: nausea, vomiting, increase in temperature to 38-40 degrees and diarrhea.

Samples were taken for laboratory tests, including biological samples, as well as nasopharyngeal swabs and samples of drinking water and food.

As of 10:00, November 23, four patients had been discharged from the hospital, while the condition of the others was assessed as mild and moderate. -0-
