Temperatures to rise in Armenia to 14 degrees Celsius

No snow is expected across Armenia on January 16-20, the National Weather Service said today.
Temperatures to rise in Armenia to 14 degrees Celsius

YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. No snow is expected across Armenia on January 16-20, the National Weather Service said today. The southwestern winds' speed will be up to 2-5 m/sec.

The daytime temperatures on January 16-19 will gradually rise by 6-8 degrees Celsius. In the Ararat valley and nearby foothills the temperatures will up by 4-5 degrees.

The highest daytime temperatures are expected on Wednesday and Thursday in Syunik valleys – up to 10-14 degrees Celsius. The temperature will reach 13 degrees Celsius in Artsakh, 12 degrees Celsius in Tavush region of Armenia, and 10 degrees in Lori region.

The daytime temperature in Yerevan on Monday will grow to 4-6 degrees and to 6-8 degrees on Friday. At night hours it will vary from 1-5 degrees below zero.-0-
