Temperatures in some parts of Armenia to surge to 32 degrees Celsius this week
YEREVAN, April 16. /ARKA/. No rains are expected across Armenia on April 16-18, the National Weather Service reported.
Occasional rains and thunderstorms are forecasted in some parts of the country on April 19-20. The wind will be south-western with a speed of 2-5 m/s; during thunderstorms wind gusts may accelerate to 16-20 m/s.
The temperature will gradually rise by 6-8 degrees Celsius on April 16-19. In Lori, Tavush and Syunik provinces by 8-10 degrees.
In the capital city Yerevan on Tuesday afternoon the temperature will rise to 21-23 degrees Celsius, and by Saturday it will warm up to 26-28 degrees.
Friday afternoon will be the hottest in Syunik valley, where the temperature will up to 29-32 degrees Celsius and in Armavir, Ararat and Tavush - up to 29 degrees Celsius. -0-
