Armenia's Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring said occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected on June 14-16 at nights and in the afternoons in most parts of the country and in the capital Yerevan and in some parts of the country on June 17-18.

Temperature in Yerevan to rise to 34 degrees Celsius

YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. Armenia's Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring said occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected on June 14-16 at nights and in the afternoons in most parts of the country and in the capital Yerevan and in some parts of the country on June 17-18. It said hailstorms are likely in some areas.

The speed of the southwestern winds will be 2-5 m/s. It may accelerate to 18-23 m/s during the thunderstorms.

The temperature in the country will not change essentially. In Yerevan on Tuesday afternoon it will warm up to 29-31 degrees and to 32-34 degrees on Friday and Saturday.-0-
