The Tashir charity foundation, run by the family of Russia-based billionaire of Armenian origin Samvel Karapetyan has donated another $3 million to Armenia for the implementation of humanitarian and social programs.

“We have provided and will continue to provide all-round assistance to the Armenian people, especially in these difficult times. I believe that in the end we will be able to secure all conditions for peace and prosperity in the Armenian land,” Karapetyan was quoted as saying by Tashir foundation.
According to the foundation, the fate of the Armenians of Artsakh is always in the center of attention of the Tashir charity.
'One of the striking examples of this is the unprecedented medical center built in 2013 in Stepanakert, capital of Artsakh that has the ability to provide the population with medical services at the level of leading world-class clinics,' it said.
In January 2017, Arayik Harutyunyan, who was then the Prime Minister of Artsakh, praised Samvel Karapetyan's support during the launch of a program to support large families.
“Samvel Karapetyan is one of the greatest Armenian benefactors of our times, who is always concerned about the fate of the Motherland and the Armenian people,” Harutyunyan said. - 0--
