Summer heat expected across Armenia
YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. Armenian weather forecasters predict no precipitations for March 31 and April 1-4, saying the winds from the west will be blowing with gusts to 2-5 meters/sec, and may accelerate to 18-20 meters/sec in some parts on April 2-4.
The temperature on March 31 and April 1-3 will gradually rise by 10-13 degrees. On April 2-4 gusty winds up to 14-16m/s are also expected in the capital Yerevan.
The temperature in the capital on Thursday afternoon will grow to 16-18 degrees and to 24-26 degrees on Sunday and drop by 2-4 degrees on next Monday.
The highest temperatures are expected on Sunday afternoon in Syunik valleys - 29-32 degrees. In Ararat region and in the foothills of Vayots Dzor the temperatures will soar to 26-30 degrees, in Tavush region – to 25-29 degrees, and in Armavir region – to 24-28 degrees. -0-
