YEREVAN, August 13. /ARKA/. A serviceman's death marks the second such incident in Armenia over the past four weeks.

On Thursday, the Armenian Ministry of Defense announced that Grigor Zakaryan, a serviceman from a military unit, was found dead with a gunshot wound on August 13.

"An investigation is currently in progress to thoroughly determine the circumstances surrounding the incident," the statement indicated.

Previously, on July 21, another serviceman, Narek Torosyan, lost his life in one of the military units of the Armenian Defense Ministry. In connection with that case, two servicemen—a junior sergeant and a private—have been charged for allegedly driving the serviceman to suicide, and both have been taken into custody. -0-
