YEREVAN, September 12. /ARКА/. Actress and television presenter Sati Spivakova is set to visit Yerevan for a two-day cultural and charitable program aimed at supporting the City of Smile Foundation, which provides assistance to children suffering from oncological and hematological conditions.

This visit has been organized at the personal initiative of Ms. Spivakova, with the support of GPMgold, a consistent benefactor of the foundation.

In April of the previous year, Sati Spivakova introduced a performance of the Theater of Nations titled “Canary. The Last Three Days of Maria Callas” to Yerevan audience for the first time and accepted the role of Goodwill Ambassador for the City of Smile Foundation. This current visit is a continuation of that mission.

On September 19, the Mher Mkrtchyan Artistic Theater will feature two performances of “Turgenev. Metaphysics of Love” by the Moscow Theatre of Nations (directed by D. Serdyukov). This remarkable literary and musical piece is based on the correspondence between Ivan Turgenev and Pauline Viardot, enhanced by music from Chopin, Sati, Schwartz, and Desyatnikov. The lead roles will be portrayed by Sati Spivakova and Vladimir Koshevoy. All proceeds from these performances will be donated to the City of Smile Foundation.

A charity dinner is scheduled for September 20, under the auspices of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia. This event aims to raise awareness regarding the issue of childhood oncology. The organizers believe that humanism and compassion are essential components of culture.-0-
