Registration of newborns in Armenia is now available online
YEREVAN, December 9. /АРКА/. In Armenia, parents can now register their child's birth electronically via the hartak.am platform, as announced by the Minister of Justice, Srbuhi Galyan.
She stated that to use this service, one must possess an ID card and complete identification through the "Yesem" (It is me) system.
"To access the platform, you need to submit a relevant application in the section titled 'State registration of acts of civil status' and provide an email address for feedback," Galyan explained in a video shared on social media. The minister also noted that the medical certificate must be uploaded to the system from the medical facility where the child was born.
In the designated sections, a parent should enter the child's name and surname in Armenian letters, the surname of either parent, ethnicity (optional), and the address where either parent is registered.
After entering the public services identification number and the medical control number, the child's information will be automatically retrieved from the state register and medical system.
"Once the electronic signature is applied and the application is confirmed, it cannot be altered. You will receive a notification confirming its acceptance. After the registration process is complete, a state birth certificate will be generated and sent to the email address provided by a parent," Galyan concluded.-0-
