YEREVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. Armenia's Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center said occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the country on June 2-7. Also, hailstorms are possible in some areas.
The speed of the south-western winds is 2-5 m /s. During thunderstorms it may accelerate to 15-20 m/s.
The temperatures across the country will rise gradually by 3-5 degrees Celsius on June 3-5. No rains are forecast in the capital Yerevan on the next five days.
The temperature in the capital on Friday afternoon will rise to 33-35 degrees. The highest temperature on this day -34.4 degrees- was registered in 1980. By Tuesday, the temperature in Yerevan will up to 35-37 degrees. -0-
