YEREVAN, August 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published a post in Facebook about his vision of how to cut unemployment rate.
"More and more employers say they need qualified personnel , but can not find. There are jobs in Armenia, but unfortunately our educational system and self-education are not adapted to the needs of the labor market," Pashinyan wrote in his Facebook page.
According to him, this is a problem that the government must deal with. He said everyone who seeks a job must work on a constant basis improve their skills. “I do so every day,’ he said.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the unemployment rate in Armenia (calculated by a new methodology) in the first quarter of 2018 was 20.6%. -0-
