Over 6,200 real estate purchase and sale transactions completed in Armenia in October
YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. In October 2025, some 6,206 real estate purchase and sale transactions were completed in Armenia's real estate market, compared to 5,333 transactions in October 2024 and 5,587 in September 2025, according to the Statistical Committee.
The largest number of transactions during the reporting month – 2,576 (41.2% of the total) – were completed in Yerevan, while the fewest – 87 (1.4%) – were in Vayots Dzor.
Real estate purchase and sale transactions were dominated by apartments in multi-apartment buildings (2,537, or 40.9% of the total). There were also 2,062 land transactions (33.2%), 809 residential building transactions (13%), 551 garage transactions (8.9%), 182 public buildings transactions (3.1%), and 55 industrial buildings transactions (0.9%).
In October of this year, foreign citizens completed 221 real estate purchases in Armenia. Of these, 125 transactions were completed by Russian citizens, 34 by European citizens, 32 by US citizens, 14 by CIS citizens (excluding Russia), 6 by Iranian citizens, and 1 by Syrian citizens. Another 9 transactions were completed by citizens of other countries.
Of the 221 real estate purchase transactions completed by foreign citizens, 134 were for apartments in multi-unit buildings, 33 for garages, 30 for land, 23 for residential buildings, 1 for public buildings.
The largest number of foreigners purchased real estate in Yerevan (146 transactions), while the smallest number was in the Vayots Dzor region (1 transaction). There were no transactions in the Syunik region.
Moreover, during the reporting month, foreign citizens completed 261 real estate sales transactions in Armenia. Of these, 187 transactions were completed by Russian citizens, 29 by European citizens, 17 by US citizens, 11 by Iranian citizens, and 10 by citizens of CIS countries (excluding Russia). Another 7 transactions were completed by citizens of other countries.
Of the 261 real estate sales transactions conducted by foreign citizens, 121 were for apartments in multi-apartment buildings, 76 for land, 49 for residential buildings, 8 for garages, 6 for public buildings, and 1 for industrial buildings.
The largest number of foreign citizens selling real estate was in Yerevan (93 transactions), while the fewest were in Vayots Dzor Province (2 transactions).-0-
