Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan has decided to sack head of the Traffic Police Armen Hakobyan, a local daily “Zhoghovurd" (People) says.

YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan has decided to sack head of the Traffic Police Armen Hakobyan, a local daily “Zhoghovurd" (People) says. According to the newspaper, a relating decree will be announced in the coming days.

The daily, however, says that a spokesman for Police, Ashot Aharonyan, has denied this information. Incidentally, the newspaper writes, for two days Armen Hakobyan’s  phone has been disabled and even his colleagues are unable to locate him. -0-
