YEREVAN, October 4. /ARKA/. The Armenian Ministry of Health has named the most common types of acute respiratory infections (ARIs).
These are the pathogens causing rhinovirus infection, parainfluenza, adenovirus infection, and the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection.
The Ministry of Health stated that the country recorded low levels of ARIs over the past week.
"Hospitalizations with ARIs are practically the same as the previous week and 1.2 times lower than the same period last year. Laboratory tests have not detected any influenza pathogens," the ministry stated.
The Ministry of Health has once again urged citizens to get vaccinated against seasonal flu at clinics (outpatient clinics) or mobile vaccination sites to prevent contracting acute respiratory infections and influenza, as well as to avoid complications.
