IDeA promises to invest 15.6 billion drams in Armenian Dilijan

The government of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has approved today a 15.6 billion drams worth investment project designed to build a resort center in the town of Dilijan in Tavush region and to improve the town’s infrastructure.
YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. The government of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has approved today a 15.6 billion drams worth investment project designed to build a resort center in the town of Dilijan in Tavush region and to improve the town’s infrastructure.
Vache Terteryan, the acting minister of territorial administration and development, said the project consists of four components - creation of a highly-qualified integrated rehabilitation health center Chaum Dilijan, improvement of the town’s lake and the adjacent territory, improvement of the town park and the reconstruction of the city stadium.
The investment program is implemented by the Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) foundation of Ruben Vardanyan.
IDeA said some 1,070 construction and other jobs will be created over the five-year period with an average monthly wage of 200,000 drams. When completed, the health resort and auxiliary buildings will employ 408 permanent workers with an average salary of 500,000 drams.
The Initiatives for Development of Armenia charitable foundation, founded by entrepreneurs and philanthropists Ruben Vardanyan and Veronika Zonabend, implements long-term socio-economic programs that help the country to switch from the survival model to prosperity model. ($ 1 - 486.68 drams). -0-
