Government releases additional financing for subvention projects
YEREVAN, November 4. /ARKA/. The Armenian government made a decision today to allocate additionally 532 million drams to finance a set of subvention projects to be implemented in communities across the country.
According to Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Development Gnel Sanosyan, the total cost of 27 projects submitted by 24 communities is one billion drams. Five of these projects s were approved in 2020, another 22 - in 2021.
The minister noted that the communities will use additional financing to pay construction companies.
In particular, the Aragatsotn province will receive 27.9 million drams, the Ararat province - 34 million drams, the Armavir province - 25 million drams, Gegharkunik - 112 million drams, Lori - 102 million drams, Kotayk - 28 million drams, Shirak - 30 million drams, Vayots Dzor - 38 million drams and Tavush 132 million drams.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that in 2018-2020 over 47 billion drams worth subvention projects were carried out, while in 2021 alone there are 678 projects underway worth 48.4 billion drams. ($1 - 476.85 drams). --0--
