Government approves $10 million worth development project in Yerevan

YEREVAN, November 26. / ARKA / The Armenian government has approved today a $10 million worth development project to be implemented by Hayk-88 LLC. The company is to develop an area in central Komitas Avenue in Yerevan.

Territorial Development and Infrastructure Minister Suren Papikyan said the company is to develop two areas of 2,001 sq.m. and 10,028 sq.m. respectively.

According to him, within the framework of the project, a building is to be demolished in that area. After the implementation of the project the company will build an overhead passage across Komitas Avenue.

According to him, out of the total investment of $10 million, about $1 million will be allocated for the renovation of a public park - for construction of an amphitheater, a fountain, swimming pools, drip irrigation systems, lighting and other objects. -0-
