Former chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan was interrogated today by the Special Investigation Service (SIS), Gasparyan's lawyer Tigran Atanesyan told Novosti -Armenia news agency.

YEREVAN, January 14. /ARKA/. Former chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan was interrogated today by the Special Investigation Service (SIS), Gasparyan's lawyer Tigran Atanesyan told Novosti -Armenia news agency.

He declined to provide details regarding the criminal case that involves the ex-head of the Police.
The news agency contacted the Special Investigation Service for details, however, they declined comments.

On September 18, Gasparyan was charged with abuse of power and inaction, resulting in negligence with grave consequences. He signed a written undertaking not to travel outside the country pending the end of the investigation. -0-
