YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. A former high-ranking State Revenue Committee (SRC) official has been detained in Armenia.

"Within the framework of the Anti-Corruption Committee's investigation, we confirm that a former SRC official has been detained on charges of illegal entrepreneurial activity, anti-competitive activity, and money laundering," said Marina Ohanjanyan, press secretary of the Anti-Corruption Committee.

According to the media, particularly "Armenpress" and "Lurer," the detained official is former SRC head, Vardan Harutyunyan.-0-
