An education and culture development centre will be built in Jrvezh community (located in Kotayk region, adjacent to Yerevan); the project is estimated at about AMD 763.5 million (about $1.94 million).

YEREVAN, December 29. /ARKA/. An education and culture development centre will be built in Jrvezh community (located in Kotayk region, adjacent to Yerevan); the project is estimated at about AMD 763.5 million (about $1.94 million).

The Armenian government approved today a decision to donate a property to Jrvezh community for the construction of the centre. The project will be implemented with partial funding of the government - nearly 496, 3 million drams will be allocated from state budget for this purpose.

At present more than 1,300 children study in the local school, but there are no clubs or other leisure facilities in the community.

The centre is planned to be completed in three years. It will have an auditorium, a children's music school, a dance class, a canteen for primary and pre-school children, a library and a reading room, technology labs and art workshops. ($1 - 393.27 AMD). --0--
