Armenia's Ministry of Defense has launched an official investigation into the transportation of meat for military personnel with violation of sanitary and hygienic norms, a ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said in a Facebook post.

YEREVAN, July 31 /ARKA/. Armenia's Ministry of Defense has launched an official investigation into the transportation of meat for military personnel with violation of sanitary and hygienic norms, a ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said in a Facebook post.

Earlier, the Shant TV channel released a video showing clearly that the meat for a military unit was transported on a truck not designed for this purpose with an open body and covered only with a piece of tarpaulin.

"The guilty will definitely be punished. Also, the best solution to avoid such incidents is to change the order of delivery of products," Artsrun Hovhannisyan wrote. -0-
