YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. Armenian Investigative Committee said today that a commander of a rifle company was arrested on charges of driving a soldier to suicide by negligence and use of violence.

The commander of the rifle company insulted the soldier, Aleks Avanesyan, in the presence of the latter's fellow servicemen for falling asleep while on duty.

The soldier, according to investigators, later shot himself from the automatic rifle. The commander of the company is accused also with using violence against another serviceman.

On the basis of sufficient facts, a criminal prosecution was initiated against the company commander and he was indicted. --0—
