Communities submit 46 applications for government subventions

Armenian communities have submitted 46 applications for 1.9 billion drams worth government subventions, the government’s press service reported on Friday.
YEREVAN, May 24 /ARKA/. Armenian communities have submitted 46 applications for 1.9 billion drams worth government subventions, the government’s press service reported on Friday. It said Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan attended today a meeting of the appraisal commission that approved the applications.
The Armenian government is allocating subventions for development of communities’ economic and social infrastructures. The government said its co-financing will amount to more than 1 billion drams.
The Armenian government is planning to allocate subventions amounting to AMD 10 billion (around USD 20 million) for development of communities’ economic and social infrastructure in 2019.
Depending on the specifics, characteristics, geographical location and the impact of this program on the socio-economic situation of communities, 30–70% of the total cost of community infrastructure development projects are co-financed by the government. ($ 1 - 480.03 drams). --0
