YEREVAN, January 11. /ARKA/. Armenian environmental authorities have prevented the illegal transportation of 362 kg of frozen whitefish to the capital Yerevan.

According to the Nature and Subsoil Protection Inspectorate, the fish was found in the truck of a VAZ-2106 car on the Sevan-Yerevan highway.

Currently, catching whitefish in the lake is prohibited due to the spawning period. The cost of fish is estimated at 1.8 million drams. The case has been transferred to law enforcement bodies. --0--
