Arsen Davtyan appointed as deputy health minister

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed today Arsen Davtyan as Deputy Minister of Health, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.
YEREVAN, May 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed today Arsen Davtyan as Deputy Minister of Health, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.
Arsen Davtyan was born in 1975. In 1996 he graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy. In 2001, he had a course in a Japanese government -funded public health management. In 2006 he had a course in Public Expenditure Management in Poland.
He started his career in 1999 as a leading health services procurer at the State Health Agency, later worked as a chief specialist in the management of financial flows in the same agency. In 2000 he was appointed the head of this department.
From 2018 until his appointment to the post of deputy minister he worked as deputy head of the State Health Agency. For many years he was a consultant for WB, USAID and WHO.
In 1996-97 he served in the Armed Forces of Armenia. He is married, has two sons and a daughter. -0-
